A beaded ethnic necklace — a traditional handmade Ukrainian neck ornament. In form the piece is a refined beaded band gerdan. Quality Czech Preciosa beads and strong monofilament are used in the work. The finished necklace is about 55 centimetres long. Every such piece is made by hand, so each one is unique and unlike any other.

The gerdan is an old neck ornament that has always gone with the Ukrainian national costume. It naturally completes a vyshyvanka and finishes a festive women’s look. Beadwork carries on the folk tradition passed down from one generation to the next. The handwork makes the ethnic look whole, authentic and complete.
